Have you ever experienced a big life event that left you wounded and unsure about how to move forward?

My experience in the Sedona Sweatlodge in October of 2009 and the events that surrounded the tragedy have impacted my life in a big way and not the way that you would probably expect. There were huge lessons to learn. I attended the event to gain insight on my personal journey and take life to the next level. I didn’t fully understand, up until now, that the lessons wouldn’t necessarily come from my participation in the program, but in all the unforeseen events that unfolded around the program afterwards and the media attention.

I believe that the universe provides us with opportunities to grow and expand as a human being and to demonstrate our level of mastery. It was stepping back and seeing the bigger picture that gave me freedom to choose my path. Last year I chose to share my journey in an upcoming documentary feature film.

The documentary, Enlighten Us: The Rise and Fall of James Arthur Ray will be premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 15, 2016. I haven’t seen the film yet AND I am hoping that it brings healing for myself, for others that participated, and those that were impacted directly or indirectly by hearing about the heartbreaking tragedy where 3 people lost their lives at a personal development retreat.

In this short video, I share how embracing the lessons in life has been showing up and the freedom that I’ve experienced moving forward.  Here is the good news, this freedom is available to you too!

Power UP! for the Day:

Now I would love to hear from you, where do you see patterns happening in your own life and opportunities to grow and expand as a human being? Leave a comment below the video.

Creative entrepreneur, award-winning filmmaker, and Founder of Living Powerfully.com I have a vision for a world, our world in which we see ourselves as part of a global neighborhood with our fellow human beings. It is my desire for each person to find their own personal truth and together, we will use our truths to make this world better in our lifetime. We can do this through trusting ourselves and our intuitive power within us. My vision for a new world is one where people are awakened, transformed, and empowered to create a life that allows them to fulfill their purpose and dreams. A world where we love and respect ourselves and one another, and a world where we take care of our planet and all the creatures that live here with us.
