Embracing The Lessons In Life

(Scroll down to middle to see the short video)

Have you ever experienced a big life event that left you wounded and unsure about how to move forward?

My experience in the Sedona Sweatlodge in October of 2009 and the events that surrounded the tragedy have impacted my life in a big way and not the way that you would probably expect. There were huge lessons to learn. I attended the event to gain insight on my personal journey and take life to the next level. I didn’t fully understand, up until now, that the lessons wouldn’t necessarily come from my participation in the program, but in all the unforeseen events that unfolded around the program afterwards and the media attention.

I believe that the universe provides us with opportunities to grow and expand as a human being and to demonstrate our level of mastery. It was stepping back and seeing the bigger picture that gave me freedom to choose my path. Last year I chose to share my journey in an upcoming documentary feature film.

The documentary, Enlighten Us: The Rise and Fall of James Arthur Ray will be premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 15, 2016. I haven’t seen the film yet AND I am hoping that it brings healing for myself, for others that participated, and those that were impacted directly or indirectly by hearing about the heartbreaking tragedy where 3 people lost their lives at a personal development retreat.

In this short video, I share how embracing the lessons in life has been showing up and the freedom that I’ve experienced moving forward.  Here is the good news, this freedom is available to you too!

Power UP! for the Day:

Now I would love to hear from you, where do you see patterns happening in your own life and opportunities to grow and expand as a human being? Leave a comment below the video.

I’d like to invite you to Subscribe to my youTube Channel if you want to keep up with our video blog. I’d like to also invite you to come over and join us on Facebook at LivingPowerfullyNow.  Laura Tucker, Julie Min and I are also hosting Blab sessions called #EnlightenMe, where we have an intentional conversation about important topics for personal growth and share our experiences navigating the personal development journey. Our next Blab is Monday, April 11th at 8pm Central and you can subscribe here. #EnlightenMe: Having a Voice In The Face of Silence, Secrecy, and Shame

If you enjoyed the conversation, I would be super grateful if you would share this with your friends.

Thank you so much for watching and I look forward to sharing the journey with you as we collectively make a bigger impact in the world together.
