On today’s show, I’m going to share with you the benefits of meditation and a new way to achieve more quicker through the convergence of technology and spirituality.

If you are anything like me, you’ve probably experienced the frustration of meditation. Wondering if you’re doing it right, expecting some big revelation and not getting it, or wishing it could be done faster because who makes the time to spend hours and years developing the mastery to get the results of the monks.

Luckily we live in a day and age, where we can have it all. Technology has come a long way and we are starting to see some amazing tools emerge.

My friend, Erik Kuykendall is a light shaman.  Whoa, what does that mean? Well, Erik has recently started a new venture and is sharing the Lucid Light (Lucia No.3) with people in the US and here in Texas. It is a new meditation appliance that applies a light experience to reach a state of consciousness where people get moments of lucidity that changes their realities and that provides glimpses into their true selves to find a sense of wholeness, compassion and connection.

My experience using the Lucid Light reminded me of a similar experience I had when I visited Egypt and did a sunrise meditation sitting in the sand between the paws of the Sphinx.  A beautiful, cornucopia array of lights and patterns dancing across the eye lids creating a magical experience of connection, compassion and fulfillment. Who would like to have this similar, more affordable experience here in the US on a much more regular basis than a once in a lifetime excursion to Egypt?

My guest today, Erik Kuykendall, says the key to getting a release and come out of fight or flight is stimulating the pineal gland and that can be achieved through the Lucid Light.

People have practiced meditation since antiquity and there are various forms of meditation all designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness.  It is used to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being. Meditation is often used to clear the mind and ease many health concerns.

I use meditation as a way to connect with higher power, to gain clarity and insights to live my life more powerfully and on purpose. Meditation can be done through stillness or in an active way as a form of mind-training. Some use prayer, yoga, creative visualization, journaling, exercise, walking in nature, labyrinths as forms of meditation.  It’s a time for you reflect, ponder and focus.
